It’s time again for SAE’s student letters feature – Meet Andrew! Every week, we feature one or two student letters of kids applying to our program for the upcoming school year. It’s a great way to learn more about a student and find out if he or she is a good fit for your family! You can meet all of our students on our photolisting and submit a FREE application to learn more about each kid!
Student Letters: Meet Andrew
Dear host family:
I am Andrew from China, I feel great honor to know you. Here I would like to introduce my self, hoping you can get to know more about me.
I am an outgoing and energetic boy. I have showed great love for languages and I am good at communicating with others. Wherever I go, I can bring laughs. I have a very good happy family, in which we care for each other. In my spare time, I also do some housework.
I am enthusiastic about sports, and I know that working out can help build up my health. It is through NBA that I get to know teamwork and striving hard about America. I have good sense of responsibility, and I also do a lot of community service, such as doing volunteer work in libraries and museums.
Having been exposed to boarding school, I have developed great ability of being independent of my parents. And I have great confidence in coping with any challenges in the future. America is in many fields in a leading position in this world, I feel great honor to have the opportunity to receive education in America. I hope I can be a bridge over the two cultures and contribute to the culture exchange of the two.
As a Chinese, an Asian, the culture and life here is really different from yours in America. The freedom and the passion which Americans are famous for are attractive to me indeed. I’m also interested in the American daily life. Experiencing the real American life will be the most wonderful thing I’ve ever done. On the other hand, I want to share Chinese culture with you. Not just things you know, like panda or kungfu, but the Chinese lifestyles and Chinese people. In addition, I really want to experience American education.
Finally thank you for your kindness again and best wishes to you.
