#SAEstories: Meet Harry!

Harry the Creator

This week, we’re thrilled to be featuring another one of our young men looking for a host family. We typically have a harder time finding host families for boys, but we think that ours are great and would make excellent temporary sons and brothers! Harry is a curious young man who loves to create. There is always a smile on his face, regardless of the situation. His family enjoys building furniture together, and he also likes to make models in his spare time. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you should check out his model of the Millennium Falcon! In addition to making models, Harry also enjoys conducting science experiments. He hopes that he’ll be allowed to conduct some supervised science experiments at home, and would love for a family to join in on the fun!

His creative mind is paired with a loving heart. From helping his classmates and teachers to donating his own allowance to earthquake victims, Harry is always excited to give. We were so impressed with his maturity in his introduction letter:

As the only child in my family, I have the responsibility to take good care of my parents. My friends play an important role in my life because they often offer my advice when necessary, and we always have many fun things to do. However, everything isn’t perfect all the time. We never know when trouble will arise. I like to think about the matter peacefully and try to understand the thoughts of others when I am quarreling with them. I think we all need rationality and intelligence.

You should definitely consider letting this good-hearted scientist into your lives! If you’re ready to move forward, consider filling out a Host Family Application! It’s a quick and easy way to learn more about Harry and the rest of our students. If you have any questions about the hosting process, send an email to emily@saeglobal.org or call (512) 323-9595, ext 3061. We can’t wait to help you get started on the experience of a lifetime!

Due to Department of State regulations, we cannot post photos of students until they are officially placed with a host family and enrolled for the school year. If you’d like additional information on Esther or any of our other students, please get in touch with us at emily@saeglobal.org.
