School Traditions – Around the World!

All of Student Ambassador Exchange’s children have officially started school for the 2016-2017 year, and we couldn’t be more excited for their journeys. While back to school traditions here in the United States range from an apple for your new teacher to buying that new backpack, we wanted to go global!

This great article over at ParentMap talks about some traditions from Germany to Russia to India, and we love the idea of the Kazakhstani tradition of every child bringing a flower for their teacher. In China, the country is so large that traditions range from visiting exhibits at local museums to local celebrities visiting the schools!

Check out some of these photos from our students and read their captions to find out stories of first experiences so far!
